Have you gotten into Ketch Harbour Wolves yet? Frequently called the "Canadian National", or my favorite, "The National go camping", their first album has that same hypnotic Boxer quality, only with a lot of outdoor imagery, and their songs take on that same quiet momentum that I think brings me back to the Nats music. Anyway, check them out, first album available for free from their site: http://www.ketchharbourwolves.com, try out "So Long To The Ground" to see if you're into it.
